We were approached by The Yard as they were looking for a company to build them a new website. They had one online and although it looked good visually it wasn’t at all user-friendly, navigation wasn’t good and on computers or mobile devices.
From the initial stages, a reference website was mentioned and that was the way the website needed to look and flow. So we had a benchmark, it was just a matter of creating something unique for The Yard.
The new website had to be fairly simple as it’s aim was to capture interest and hopefully increase bookings to hire the venue. Although simple in design it had to make in impact visually so large images of the venue were in place to do the job.
http://www.theyardshoreditch.com/ – The website has a WordPress CMS platform in place so all content and images can be edited quickly and easily via an admin panel so they are able to do it themselves (although we can help if required?)
Within a couple of weeks of the website going live, our customer emailed us to say:
“Thanks again for all your hard work – our enquiries have gone through the roof since the site went live, and the phone is ringing constantly, good work!!
Also we are right up the rankings! So pleased.”
